About the team:
You will report to the Regional Head of Finance, working closely with technology team, regional business heads and senior management to perform your role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning and delivery of future production releases and deployments across the IFRS17 solution
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of the IFRS 17 solution
- Produce a solution dependency tracker and acquire an understanding of solution dependencies
- Create Release plans and release readiness trackers and chair release go / no go sessions
- Manage risks and issues that affect the IFRS 17 release schedule
- Perform release analysis to ensure that all release requirements are met and suitable processes are in place to verify and validate them pre and post deployment
- Liaise with colleagues across the programme and monitor progress to ensure releases are deployed on time
- Produce weekly release management reports and communicate release plans and details to protect and business teams
- Participate in programme meetings to communicate the release schedule and details
Requirements:
- Extensive experience of working in release management within a Financial Accounting and Regulatory Reporting domain
- Must have experience of working with senior business & technology stakeholders
- Must have worked on Finance System Implementation Projects
- Minimum of 5 years to lead/manage individuals within or outside of current work area on release deployments
- Must be able to produce high quality documentation and project plans
- Must exhibit extremely professional demeanour and must be comfortable working with all members of the team including senior management
- Must have excellent attention to detail, be able to work within tight deadlines and within high pressure environments
- Proven evidence of strong communication skills used to successfully lead, coordinate and conclude business discussion and planning sessions
- Ability to initiate and drive discussions with key stakeholders to effective conclusion
