Our client, a leading insurance company, is currently seeking a Head of Data Science to join their Data department on a permanent basis.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of data science strategies for the health and distribution sectors
- Manage a team of data scientists and analysts to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data science opportunities and drive business growth
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science to drive innovation within the company
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- Proven experience in leading data science projects within the health and distribution sector
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
