Job Title: Group Claims Team Leader

Duration: 6+ months

Rate/Salary: £400-500 per day inside IR35 (equivalent to an annual salary of £70,000-90,000)

Location: Reigate/home based (1-2 days in office per week, plus home working)

The Role/Expectations:

"We're looking for a new technical claims team leader to join our customer services team and manage our professional claims handlers. We are looking for someone with substantial experience of claims handling and team leadership who will lead and coach our assessors and processes"

- You will have proven working and higher level knowledge of Group Protection claims for the following benefits: Life Assurance, Death in Service Pensions, Critical Illness, Income Protection

- You will have sound decision making skills and ability to risk manage and escalate where appropriate

- Be able to demonstrate the ability to resource your team and forecast work volumes accurately up to 6 weeks ahead, as well as with the daily management of work and liaising with other teams when planning ahead

- You will support the team in placing the customer and our distribution at the heart of our business, ensuring TCF principles are maintained

- We expect you to be forward-thinking, looking for ways to continually improve the way we work, and be able to make decisive changes to ensure efficiency and strong quality performance in your team
