Oliver James is currently engaged with a leading Re/Insurance firm to appoint a Trainee Actuary into their growing Actuary function.
This position will support the non-life Actuarial function and will offer the successful candidates a varied and exciting day-to day which will compose of but not limited to the following;
- Supporting the Solvency II quarterly process.
- Calculating the Solvency II technical Provisions and Underwriting Risk SCR
- Quarterly reporting
- Assisting the internal and external audited actives
- Provide support to the Risk function.
This position would suit an ambitious self starter keen to start their career within an actuary funciton. The ideal candidate will have the following attributes;
- a recent undergrad/masters actuarial graduate.
- Strong communicator.
- team orientated
- Previous experience within an insurance background (not a prerequisite)
