Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to reinforce the accounting, analytical and reporting skills of the Finance team in Italy.

Role & Responsibilities:

Ensure the accuracy of accounting and financial data

• Ensure the accuracy of accounting and financial data

• Run month-end close and reporting in the local ERP (Alyante & Navision), as well as perform controlling activities to support month-end analysis and Group reporting

• Manage the upload and validation of financial data into the reporting system (Tagetik)

• Perform cash flow analysis, working closely with the Treasury/Accounting/Credit Team

• Support functional transformation initiatives, including processes optimization, definition of common policies and procedures, alignment with Group policies and guidelines

• Establish and maintain an environment of internal control and integrity, while supporting the management of local Finance systems

• Deal with external parties, such as tax consultants and payroll provider

• Oversee local G/Ls and review financial information for the monthly and quarterly reporting

• Support compliance audits, annual audits, and ad-hoc due diligence activities

• Support tax planning, execution, and compliance

Key Skills:

• Degree in Accounting, MSc in Accounting/Finance or similar experience

• At least 2/3 years of experience in a major audit firm is mandatory

• Strong technical accounting skills

• Proficient in Excel and experienced user of accounting and financial systems

• Ability to work and deliver results under pressure

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluent in Italian and English
