Job Opening for a Financial Reporting Manager
Our client, an established insurance company, is seeking a highly proficient and dedicated Financial Reporting Manager to join their dynamic Finance department.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Manage the entire cycle of regulatory reporting for Property & Casualty under the guidelines of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate comprehensive audits.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.
- Develop and enhance financial reporting systems to improve process efficiency and quality of outputs.
- Provide strategic leadership to the financial reporting team, nurturing a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Key Skills
- Expertise in Statutory Reporting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong understanding and experience with Property & Casualty Regulatory Reporting for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Superb analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
