The Role
As a Financial Controller, you will spearhead the finance planning, actuals, closing, and reporting activities for designated reporting units. You will serve as the primary liaison for "finance actuals and closing services" provided by Financial Shared Services, ensuring seamless delivery and execution.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for Finance Business Partners, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Engage directly with budget holders to facilitate the budgeting and forecasting process, utilizing your analytical prowess to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Take ownership of balance sheet management and reconciliation for assigned entities, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate closely with Management Reporting BG/BU to deliver comprehensive reports and forecasts.
- Drive product costing, variance analyses, manufacturing performance evaluations, inventory management, and CAPEX assessments.
- Provide essential content for Journal Entries to the shared service center, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
- (Post) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Financial Controlling, and/or licensed certified public accountant.
- Passion for finance coupled with relevant work experience, preferably including exposure to a Big Four environment.
- Profound understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, demonstrating expertise in financial analysis and reporting.
- A driven team player with a thirst for learning and growth, equipped with excellent interpersonal skills and adept at stakeholder management.
- Self-starter mentality with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
