Finance Business Analyst | London | Specialty Insurance Firm
My client is a Data centric Specialty Insurance firm based in London who are looking to appoint a Finance Business Analyst who can support the business in improving and driving change in their Finance Processes.
Role:
- Report to stakeholders on finance change initiatives and improve reporting on day-to-day finance responsibilities.
- Develop an understanding of the business to add value in developing solution options and problem solving.
- Gather, review, and analyse finance data, including KPIs, financial reports and other key metrics
- Continual review of all internal finance processes to identify areas where processes are not working effectively / efficiently. Engage with a range of stakeholders to create positive working relationship.
Skills Needed:
- Process mapping skills with process improvement experience
- A part qualified and commercially minded financial accountant - CA/ACA/CIMA/ACCA
- Good knowledge of Insurance accounting, UK GAAP and finance systems
- Relevant and recent experience in a insurance finance role
- Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - TM1 experience highly advantageous
