Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Underwriting department
• Provide strategic direction and guidance to the team
• Develop and implement underwriting policies and procedures
• Evaluate risk factors and determine appropriate coverage and premium rates
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Maintain strong relationships with brokers and other stakeholders
• Resolve complex underwriting issues and provide expert advice
• Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for business growth

Key Skills

• Previous experience in underwriting within the insurance industry
• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Sound knowledge of insurance products, processes, and regulations
