• Responsible for all day-to-day management of the hedging program, including monitoring the hedge position, providing re-balancing orders as a function of the rates movements/new business/etc., management of internal stakeholders and communications
• Help develop and design the future interest rate strategy, including but not limited to developing the hedging framework, adding new instruments, inclusion of convexity management, optimisation of hedging performance, implementation of internal hedging with other books, optimisation of collateral strategy
• Lead the transition of the current buy-and-hold fixed income strategy to a total return strategy, including scope of work, selection of benchmarks and approach to implementation
• Lead the annual review of the hedging programme to ensure it continues to meet our desired objectives, including setting target hedge ratios, approaching the calculation of DV01 and par surplus, setting of collateral limits, etc and leading the internal and external communications associated with any changes
• Be a key consultant to product pricing as to how to optimise pricing rates and illustrations when considering the hedging of new business

Job Requirements:

• At least 12+ years of experience
• Past hands on experience with hedging programmes
• Sound people management and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
• Possess business acumen, be innovative, and be self-driven.
• Ability to deal with and handle multiple and changing priorities.
• Knowledge in insurance products and various financial reporting bases
• Knowledge in asset liability management and investment management will be an advantage
• Proficiency in Business Software, Actuarial Software
• You are required to obtain relevant licence if your job involves in regulated activities
