Astral Legal have partnered with a FTSE 250 company as they are looking to recruit either a Data Protection Paralegal or Data Protection SME to assist their Legal team on a contract basis.

My client requires someone to assist them with completing a data audit of all their external suppliers who process data on it's behalf. You will be placed within their Legal team working daily with their IT Security and Audit departments.

Responsibilities for a Data Protection Paralegal will include:

• Collating responses to a data audit questionnaire from suppliers
• Identifying any areas of potential risk and proposing actions for remediation
• Reviewing contracts and drafting amendment agreements
• Liaising with the business as a whole regarding general Data Protection queries
• Drafting Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC's)
• Drafting Data Transfer Agreements

The ideal candidate will be immediately available or on a short notice period, have previous experience around Data Protection in particular Standard Contractual Clauses.
