Data Steward - Asset Management - Asset Manager - Data Management - Data Quality

I am currently working with an Asset Manager client who is looking for a contract Data Manager/Steward to join their team.

The ideal candidate will ensure that data products are compliant with data governance standards & policies. You will monitor the effectiveness of Core Data Service levels e.g. data quality, timeliness, scope, user feedback while also reporting on key points for attention for management / Domain Owners via KPIs, metrics and other supporting information.

Key Skills

• 2-3 years Data Management experience gained within asset manager or asset servicing function
• Demonstrate an understanding of a wide range of instrument types including derivatives.
• Understanding of investment management process and related operating models supporting data management
• Familiarity with data architecture structures, lineage investigations and resolving data quality queries.
• Desirable: Knowledge of SQL with intermediate querying skills (for investigation and querying lineage, not for development). Tableau (or similar) BI front-end user development
