About the Role:

Our partner is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their growing Risk team. Following a recent migration to Azure and the departure of a key team member, they are looking for someone who can ensure a smooth flow of data to support Risk Analysts in their decision-making processes. This role will focus on building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines while delivering reliable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion pipelines using DataBricks, DataFactory, and Synapse.
  • Collaborate closely with Risk Analysts to provide all necessary data for risk assessments and reporting.
  • Work within the Azure cloud environment to support ongoing migration efforts and optimize data workflows.
  • Ensure the accuracy, security, and availability of data for analytical use.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, preferably within a risk-focused environment.
  • Proficiency with Azure DataBricks, DataFactory, and Synapse.
  • Proficiency with Python, Pyspark
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and risk compliance processes.
  • Fluency in French or Dutch, with English as a working language. Trilingual proficiency is a major advantage.
  • Experience in risk management or understanding of risk analytics is a huge plus.
