Your key responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development: Create, implement, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services. Ensure data is ingested, processed, and transformed efficiently.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from diverse sources, including on-premises systems, external APIs, databases, and cloud-based platforms, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Data Transformation: Apply data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment techniques to prepare data for analytics and reporting purposes. Utilize tools like Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models and schemas to support analytical and reporting requirements. Implement best practices for data warehousing.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines and database performance to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, data flows, and data architectures to facilitate knowledge sharing and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve data-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruptions to data processes and analytics.
• Cloud Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with Azure cloud technologies and best practices, leveraging new features and capabilities to improve data engineering processes.

Skills and competences:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 3 years of proven experiencse in data engineering, with a focus on Azure cloud services.
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, and other relevant Azure technologies.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch with a great skills in English
• You are a team player with a Proactive attitude
• You are capable of Autonomy, commitment and perseverance.
