Oliver James are currently recruiting for a Corporate Management Accountant on behalf of our client who is a Lloyds Syndicate within the insurance market. The Corporate Management Accountant will be responsible for the accounting and reporting of the Corporate entities. In addition, they will have responsibility for the planning & forecasting of the corporate entities, and to assist with the syndicate planning & forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the month end close of the corporate entities including the MGA.
- Monthly detailed expense analysis for the corporate entities and Group.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts for the companies and Group.
- Prepare corporate entities and Group Report and Accounts.
- Liaise with external auditors.
- Assist in preparation of corporation tax returns.
- Assist with annual budgets and regular reforecasts for the corporate entities.
- Assist with board reporting for corporate entities and Group.
- Responsible for all regulatory reporting for the corporate entities.
- Assist with syndicate planning & forecasting.
Key Skills
- Newly or Nearly Qualified Accountant.
- An understanding of the Lloyd's insurance market and the regulatory framework in which it operates.
- Strong communication skills to effectively manage internal stakeholders of all levels.
- Advanced Excel.
