The Consultant - Compliance Project Lead will be responsible for reconciling all investment compliance rules, ensuring accuracy of Aladdin BQL rule codes, and building a framework to support investment guideline review and management.

This role, pivotal to supporting the company's growth and diversified portfolio, involves a compliance professional consultant to develop a robust compliance framework for internal systems and BlackRock Aladdin Solutions. The Consultant - Compliance Project Lead will reconcile investment compliance rules, ensure the accuracy of BQL coding, manage investment guidelines, and streamline compliance processes. Key qualifications include experience with Aladdin Solutions, a background in financial services, proficiency in MS Office, and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build robust compliance governance framework and document for stakeholders use
  • Reconcile Aladdin Compliance Workbench data to investment guidelines, ensuring BQL coding is accurate.
  • Ensure completeness of investment compliance guidelines in Aladdin compliance system
  • Establish library of all guidelines, IMAs and trust agreements, ensuring fully executed and final documents are retained.
  • Streamline rules to remove redundancies, establish 1-to-many rule master and build
  • Provide recommendations for ongoing reporting for compliance breaches and trends.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Experience with BlackRock Aladdin Solutions, Aladdin BQL coding language required
  • Minimum of +5 years of relevant experience in middle office within the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of investment markets and financial products required with experience in fixed income markets,
  • Proficient in MS office with strong Excel skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution or relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
