Oliver James is partnered with UK leading Insurer in their search for a Co-Sec and Compliance Officer to join the team.
You will assist the Head of Compliance in developing and maintaining an effective Compliance function across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include
-Supporting governance processes, Keeping policies and procedures up to date, and Providing tailored training (AML).
-Regulatory review (FCA) and working knowledge of Prudential Regulations, GDPR, Implementing processes and systems.
-Managing two direct reports, Supporting the Head of Compliance with technical requirements to ensure the smooth running of the compliance function.
-ICSA, knowledge of the Companies Act 2006
The suitable candidate will have experience working in a Company Secretary team in financial services and working within a Compliance team before, ideally in an Insurance firm, but open to wider FS.
