Cloud Architect - Remote

Job description

We are looking to hire a Cloud Architect. This person will report directly to the Director of Infrastructure and will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud-based technologies, infrastructure, and security, as well as experience managing large-scale IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions.
• Collaborate with other members of the IT team to determine project requirements and ensure successful implementation of new solutions.
• Develop and implement cloud infrastructure policies, procedures, and standards that ensure security, reliability, and scalability.
• Work with external vendors to manage cloud infrastructure, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud-based technologies and services that align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud infrastructure design, configuration, and operation.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to other IT staff on cloud-related issues.
• Participate in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
