Due to continued success and the expansion of their Cloud Services, a Global Data Analytic client of Oliver James are currently seeking a Cloud Administrator. You will be integral to the growth of the platform and will get the opportunity to learn new Technologies along the way. They need candidates who are curious, open to learning and who are passionate about furthering their career within Cloud Tech. This is a Hybrid role, working two days a week in their Indianapolis office.
Responsibilities
- Fulfil the administrator role for Azure and AWS cloud accounts and multiple SaaS solutions (e.g. Salesforce, GitHub Enterprise)
- Own monthly Cloud and SaaS cost tracking and reporting activities
- Serve as the primary IT vendor point of contact for the managed systems
- Manage business continuity and disaster recovery activities for the managed systems
- Support HITRUST audits via evidence gathering activities for the managed systems
- Assist with the design of hybrid IT solutions for extending data storage and compute into the cloud
- Collaborate with business staff and assist with implementing useful system configurations
- Obtain and/or maintain relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate)
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of cloud infrastructure and SaaS configurations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for audits and operational reference (e.g., SOPs/SLAs/others)
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems using tools like AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Splunk to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
Requirements
- 2 + Years experience administering either AWS or Azure platforms.
- Experience with SAAS products is essential.
- Proven experience in Cost Tracking and Budgeting
- Audit, compliance and regulatory experience
- Demonstrable expereince working with Monitoring alerting systems such as AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Splunk.
