Claims Adjuster | Financial Lines | London
My client is an Insurance firm based in the City of London and they are looking to appoint a Claims Adjuster who will play a crucial role in overseeing the work and services provided by MGAs' and TPAs on delegated authority programs.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to Claims Handling Agreement's terms, handling large claims outside of delegated authorities, managing internal and external relationships, and undertaking due diligence on new opportunities.
Role:
- Accurately and timely handle the referral of large and complex claims, monitoring these claims in detail thereafter.
- Report new claims and large loss movements to interested parties and management.
- Maintain communication with the actuarial team to provide necessary details for claim-specific IBNRs.
- Oversee monthly analysis of claims performance against expectations.
- Conduct claims due diligence reviews on new opportunities, including travel as required.
- Resolve claims audits findings and actions, providing feedback to the audit team.
- Build and maintain relationships with external parties.
- Review claims TPA's contracts with external suppliers.
Skills Needed:
- Claims experience in Financial Lines insurance claims, including Directors & Officers, Professional Indemnity, Cyber, Political Risk, Contingency, ATE, Legal Expense.
- Exposure to claims in several European jurisdictions is advantageous.
- Experience with delegated authorities/program management is advantageous.
- Fluency in Italian or other European languages is advantageous.
- Legal or CII Qualified is advantageous.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience of claims.
