I am working with an MNC Insurance client and is currently looking for a Business System Analyst to work within the IT team. As a BSA, you will be leading the analysis, design, and implementation of Life and Health products within the Policy Admin system.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to product life cycle management
- Analyze existing systems and process to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Create detailed use cases and user stories to communicate requirements to development teams
- Act as a liaison between business units, offshore development team to ensure alignment on target deliverables
- Align with user on UAT schedule and to verify solutions meet business needs and requirements
- Support project management activities, including planning, monitoring, and reporting on project progress and risks
- Align with the off team on the resource plan and upskill the capability of the team to match with the expectation in the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business System Analyst with a strong focus on product development and policy administration systems
- Strong understanding of the setup for insurance product in relation to rates setup, pricing, product features, underwriting rules, policy servicing and new policy issuance
- In-depth understanding of insurance products, policy lifecycle and regulatory requirements within industry
- Understanding of integration processes between systems and platforms
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skill, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
