About the Company

Our client is a well-established international life insurer with a strong presence across Asia, serving high net worth (HNW) individuals with bespoke life and investment-linked insurance solutions. Due to continued growth, the Singapore office is seeking a high-performing and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to join their team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deepen relationships with assigned brokers, private banks, and financial advisory firms across the region

  • Identify new business opportunities and forge strategic partnerships to expand distribution channels

  • Provide end-to-end case support, including initial due diligence, KYC review, and internal coordination

  • Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and product briefings for distribution partners

  • Represent the company at wealth management forums, client events, and industry engagements

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (compliance, operations, underwriting) to ensure seamless onboarding and case progression

  • Track and support partner sales activities, reporting, and ongoing initiatives


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in life insurance or insurance brokerage, ideally within the HNW or affluent segment

  • Proven ability to manage high-level broker and private bank relationships

  • Strong communication and presentation skills; confident with external-facing engagements

  • Working knowledge of KYC and onboarding processes in cross-border insurance is advantageous

  • Self-starter with strong commercial acumen and collaborative mindset
