Business Analyst
Reports To: Business Analyst Lead
Salary: £45,000 - £52,000
Manchester - Hybrid
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate business analyst to join a multi-disciplined team responsible for delivering software change to an award-winning and fast-growing global Business. Your role will involve working with stakeholders across all business units to design and build solutions across our technology stack which includes Salesforce, SAP and a variety of third-party and in-house custom applications.
Business Analyst - Responsibilities
- Work with all levels of front-office and operational users to capture business requirements for IT project workstack, ranging from large-scale projects to new feature and improvements
- Analysis of current and desired business process to form the basis of proposed solutions, this will include running workshop and scoping sessions, reporting and analysis of management information
- Involvement in the design & delivery of solutions in collaboration with internal and external development teams
- Helping to drive technology change within the business by contributing ideas and investigating the value of proposals to allow the prioritisation of our roadmap
- Maintenance of business process documentation supporting each application, working with IT Operations team and other training resources to ensure smooth release and effective adoption of the change
Business Analyst - Experience required
- A user-focused approach to solution design and an analytical approach to problem solving
- Ability to document processes and change requirements to a suitable level according to the need and stage of the project
- Be an independent thinker who will contribute their own ideas to solution design and be able to constructively challenge stakeholder requests
- Possess good communication skills and be able to engage with every level of an organisation
- Flexibility to move between projects and deliver on more than one at time
- Preferably to have worked on projects that cover both front and middle to back office functions
- Prior experience on the Salesforce or SAP platforms, would be an advantage but not essential.
