BI Analyst | Power BI | Reinsurance
We are currently seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join a dynamic team at a leading Global Reinsurance firm based in London. As part of their expanding Data development and business team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and advancing our Client Intelligence processes, tools, and materials.
Role:
- Support and enhance Client Intelligence tools, processes, and materials to drive their global Business Development strategy and tactical plans.
- Conduct detailed quantitative analyses of both internal and external data sources to derive insights into customer behaviors and reinsurance programs.
- Manage information related to client and broker relationships, ensuring it is readily available for senior management and the global underwriting team.
- Perform data analysis and create compelling PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate insights to the underwriting team and senior stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations for improving core reporting and streamlining reporting processes.
- Contribute to the design, development, and testing of new client and broker-specific reporting solutions.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with underwriting teams and senior management to address client intelligence requirements.
Skills Needed:
- Previous experience in (re)insurance, broking, management consulting, finance, or data analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Strong expertise in BI/visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Proficiency with CRM/Dynamics 365 Marketing is a plus.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
