Compensation: €80,000 - €95,000 all-in & ± 20% bonus

We are supporting one of the biggest international banks in their search for an audit manager. Do you have experience as an internal auditor in a bank or do you have experience with banks as an external auditor? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
About the Role
Internal Audit operates as the bank's third line of defence, and in accordance with the global institute of internal auditors international standards (IIA standards), provides independent assurance to the board and executive management on the quality and effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls to monitor manage and mitigate key risks to achieving the bank's objectives.
The Internal Audit function works in close collaboration with our colleagues all over the world. Our function independently evaluates whether the quality of the bank's internal control framework is effective and efficient and assesses whether the banks existing processes, controls, policies and procedures are adequate and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
The Internal Audit team in Amsterdam supports the ongoing changes in the bank as well as the ever evolving regulatory landscape. Internal Audit is a truly international team, with a varied mix of skills and experience, providing good opportunities to both learn and develop professionally.
What We're Looking For
Minimum of 6 years experience as an auditor (Financial services, banks). RO, RA, RE, ACCA are a plus.
Strong knowledge of legal, regulatory and statutory frameworks and the ability to interpret/advise ongoing regulatory developments.
A high level of independence, critical thinking and the ability to challenge the status quo are essential.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders are required.
Experience in Investment/Corporate banking is a major plus.
The role requires flexibility to work in a multi-cultural, international environment. Excellent verbal and written English skills are essential. Proficiency in Dutch/German is preferred.
What's on Offer
A competitive all-in compensation package between €80,000 - €95,000, including holiday allowance & 13th month
A performance-based bonus of max. 20% (paid reliably in past years)
