I am currently partnering with a renowned company based in Cwmbran who are looking to bring in a hands on Assistant Accountant to join their fast paced team!
The company has went through an exciting acquisition and merger activity in the past 2 years and is now set up to build out several exciting positions across the finance function.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is either part-qualified or has recently become a fully qualified accountant and is seeking to advance in their finance career. In this role within a small team, the main responsibilities involve providing Management Information (MI) and variance analysis to senior management. Additionally, key tasks include analysing material and labour variances, distributing manufacturing and overhead reports, and managing stakeholder overhead budgets. This role also entails costing new products and monitoring actual costs against those estimates.
The ideal candidate for this role should be either part-qualified or have recently attained full qualification. They should possess advanced Excel skills, have prior experience in a similar role, and demonstrate a proactive approach with effective prioritisation abilities.
