Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the completion and oversight of Medicare Advantage bids
- Experience with bid development for MAPC required, MAPD preferred
- Ability to explain reports to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to maintain scope of budget in relation to various projects
- Responsible for mentoring and providing guidance for more jr. actuarial individuals
- Develop skills to manage client relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field
- ASA designation
- 4-10 years of healthcare actuarial experience
- Over two years of experience with Medicare Advantage, especially bid development and understanding of revenue mechanisms (e.g. risk scores, star ratings)
- Demonstratable skills in presenting technical concepts in a non-technical audience in an understandable way
- Strong understanding of the US Healthcare system

- SAS, SQL , R
