Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the ALM department, ensuring efficient and accurate delivery of capital optimization and model review.
- Actively involved in the hedging strategy using derivatives
- Provide guidance and oversight in developing and implementing actuarial models, methodologies, and risk assessments.
- Drive actuarial analyses, predictions, and interpretations of data to support decision making and optimize business performance.
- Ensure the hedging strategy aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Continually monitor and evaluate actuarial processes and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency and risk management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and emerging actuarial practices, and proactively apply them as appropriate.
Key Skills
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the life actuarial field.
- Expert ALM experience.
- Strong knowledge of actuarial principles, methodologies, and regulatory frameworks such as IFRS17.
- Proficiency in actuarial software and tools, data analysis, and statistical modeling.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective leadership, team management, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Professional certifications or qualifications in Actuarial Science or related fields are desirable.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
