This role would be best suited to an actuarial candidate who is still studying their exams, ideally upto part-way through their FIA qualification.
Working for one of the leaders in the BPA space, this agile and dynamic company have created a new role for an actuarial analyst for their finance department. Due to a period of growth, my client is investing in their finance function, looking at enhance systems and automation.
Initially starting in their actuarial reporting team, you will have the opportunity to rotate around the organisation gaining experience in other teams such as the capital, automation, business planning and business partnering divisions. This is a wonderful opportunity for any actuarial student seeking to progress and diversify their career.
In the reporting team you will be supporting with monthly reporting and analysis, as well as information for half-year and year-end reporting, hedging, forecasting and planning.
This role offers true hybrid working, being in the office 50% of the time. Please note that sponsorship is not offered for this role.
Required skill set:
- Actuarial student from Life or Pensions
- Solid analysis skills, including analysis of financial results
- Advanced level excel skills
Beneficial skills:
- Reporting - IFRS, Solvency II etc
- DB/BPA Pension knowledge
- Modelling software experience - ie RAFM/Prophet
