Oliver James are partnered with a leading insurer to appoint an Actuarial Analyst within their Pension Risk Transfer team.
This is an opportunity for a part-qualified actuarial student (3+ exams) to join a market leading insurer and work alongside industry experts.
The Actuarial Analyst will support the production of bulk annuity and longevity quotes to pension schemes, therefore DB scheme knowledge from a pension consulting background is highly desirable. In addition, the Actuarial Analyst will work alongside the New Business team and work creatively to provide innovative solutions to clients and the wider market.
Experience required:
- Part-qualified actuarial student (3+ exams)
- Knowledge of DB pension schemes or pricing is desirable
- Relevant experience from a life insurer or pension consultancy
- Degree in a highly numerate subject, e.g., mathematics, economics, statistics or actuarial studies
