Accounting Manager

One of the largest P&C Insurance providers in the US is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join their Finance team on a permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with Statutory Reporting GAAP
• Handle Ceded Reinsurance accounting and reporting
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date General Ledger records
• Collaborate with Finance and additional departments as needed

Key Skills:

• 5+ years of experience
• Property/Casualty or other Insurance industry experience required.
• Reinsurance Accounting and Reporting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Statutory Reporting GAAP
• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business, Finance or Accounting
• Ability to be proactive, a self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively.
