- Support the Finance Manager and project team on the IFRS 17 implementation. This would involve providing accounting support during UAT for implementations
- Work closely with the relevant stakeholders (IT, finance and actuarial) on accounting policy roll out to countries under the new IFRS 17 accounting standard
- Work with consulting partner and vendor, to roll-out new solution for the implementation of the new Accounting Standard
- Gathering historical data required for transition purposes
- Perform UAT testing and Dry Runs and validate outputs, including the accounting entries and relevant disclosures
- Establish new work processes and controls with the new systems and workflow
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant requires minimum CPA and/or Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Good working knowledge of accounting and financial aspects. Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of insurance operations
- 2-3 years' experience in a finance or accounting role within Insurance industry
