Senior PMO Manager (Insurance)
Seeking an experienced PMO Manager to join a newly created team.
Key objective will be the oversight and management of change across the Group, including our M&A, IT, regulatory and business process functions. There is also management of a small team.
Some of the key deliverables for the role will include:
- Identifying and developing frameworks and methodologies that ensure management of projects, programmes and/or portfolios will be comprehensive and consistent across different initiatives (adjusting for agile vs waterfall deliveries as appropriate)
- Establishing and managing assurance reviews at appropriate points during and after projects and/or programmes, which will inform the overarching governance by providing evaluations of progress, methodologies and continued relevance
- Gathering independent evidence that the information from projects, programmes and/or portfolios, is valid and that projects, programmes and/or portfolios are likely to achieve their aims
- Establishing and operate both an effective benefits management/realisation framework and resource management framework for the business
looking for the following skills and experience:
- Experience of leading a PMO functions
- Broad experience in managing high-risk, high-visibility projects
- Experience of implementing and managing benefits management frameworks
- Experience of leading resource management capabilities
- Financial Services (especially Insurance) industry knowledge would be advantageous
