(Senior) Financial Risk Management Advisor.
The Company
I am currently partnering with an international investment bank and looking for a Financial Risk Advisor.
The bank is actively investing in sustainable/ESG developments and also active in impact investing.

The role
As Financial Risk Management advisor you will be in the lead for the bank's credit risk models and carry responsibility for for example back-testing, (periodic) reviews, supervising external validations etc.
Besides Credit risk, you will also be a key advisor in the team for managing other types of risk for example liquidity or currency risks.
Other examples of tasks include but are not limited to:
- Leading / participating (interdepartmental) projects.
- Further development and contribution for risk management of the Private Equity portfolio.
- Ensuring risk management policies are compliant with respective regulatory requirements.
- Providing a well professional risk management opinion on new business initiatives.
- Coordinate and advise senior stakeholders such as the board and senior management and DNB.
- Responsible for continuous development of the financial risk management policies and best practice.
You bring
- Masters degree in Econometrics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, Actuarial Science, (Financial or applied) Mathematics or similar.
- Good Experience with IFRS9.
- Expert in Credit risk Modelling and the development of credit risk policies.
- Broad interest in risk management (besides credit risk).
- Experience coaching junior, medior and senior staff.
- Brilliant communication and stakeholder management skills.
- You are able to translate difficult technical/mathematical matters to an audience with lesser technical understanding of risk management topics and models.
- Strong people management skills.
- You have more than 10 years of relevant working experience
Qualified candidates with around 5 years working experience (or more) are also welcome to apply, but would be eligible for a more medior/senior role.
