Senior Data Analyst
Oliver James have been appointed to recruit for a Senior Data Analyst for an leading Insurance business. You will be working closely with the Data management team to help in the definition of the new data strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify gaps/areas for improvement across data and outline solutions
- Support the development of the overarching data strategy
- Assist in the implementation of a new reporting tool, Power BI
- Build insightful analytics using our modern data platform to support the business, across Pricing, Product, Finance, Claims, etc.
- Using an analytical tool, to build automated reporting, showing performace for internal and external stakeholders
- Translate data from reporting and analysis into actionable insights, supporting continuous improvement
- Support on a number of projects underway
Experience wanted:
- You will have experience in technical data requirements and designing data tests
- You will have experience working in Insurance
- You will have experience with ETL development
- You will ideally have experience working with cloud service providers
- You will ideally have experience working with cloud data warehouses
- You will ideally have experience working with Power BI, or another reporting tool
- You will be able to demonstrate forward thinking in your experience as well as self-development, e.g. continued learning new technologies
- Experience with Informatica is useful, but not essential
