Oliver James Associates is working with a global insurer that is looking to hire a Senior Claims Examiner - General Liability. In this role, you will be responsible for mid to complex level commercial general liability claims including premise liability, slip & falls, dog bites and auto liability. You will ensure ongoing adjudication of claims within service expectations, industry best practices and specific client service requirements; and negotiate settlements.
Skills/ Qualifications Required;
- Extensive commercial general liability claims experience (3+ years minimum)
- Excellent knowledge of Premise Liability and bodily injury cases such as slip & falls
- Extensive exposure to litigation and coverage investigation
- Experience managing key client / customer relationships
- Strong educational background
Salary up to $130,000 base + annual bonus on a hybrid schedule from New Jersey or New York City 2-3 days in office per week. This is an excellent role with a highly established P&C insurance carrier.
