Market leading bulk annuity provider seeking a part or qualified actuary (or someone with equal DB technical knowledge!) to join their DB Pricing team in London

Oliver James are pleased to be working with a market leading bulk annuity provider seeking a part or qualified actuary (or someone with equal DB technical knowledge!) to join their DB Pricing team in London.

As a key member of the DB pricing team you will be responsible for delivering new business quotations, populating and running pricing models to calculate premiums, including manipulation of data, assumption setting and calculation of all associated pricing metrics.

Role requirements:

  • Part or qualified FIA or relevant experience in DB pensions/pricing without the desire to study
  • Experience of working within DB consulting from within a reputable pensions consultancy or BPA pricing
  • Sound knowledge of technical actuarial concepts, particularly principles underlying bulk annuity pricing
