Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Book the monthly investment accounting journal entry
- Reconcile the ledger to the investment system
- Complete quarterly and annual portions of the investment schedules
- Assist with investment movements
- Book entries related to investments
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly GAAP statements
- Preparation of quarterly investment income analysis
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Experience in investment accounting for a financial services company (insurance a plus)
- Understanding of Statutory and GAAP accounting
- Detail oriented, accurate and able to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
