I am currently supporting a leading Insurance business based in London (hybrid/flexible working available) on their search for an Interim Technical Accounting Manager during a period of transformation.
The role will be responsible for
- Support the reporting framework across the Group, ensuring compliance with the relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements and developments particularly - UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS, Lloyds and Solvency II
- Responsible for performing technical reviews of all statutory & regulatory reporting including - Annual reports & accounts, Solvency II returns & Lloyds Returns.
- Responsible for the production of Technical Accounting papers including papers to evaluate financial reporting requirements & impact of significant transactions.
Profile Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Proven experience and understanding of UK GAAP, Solvency II and Lloyds Insurance
- 5 - 7 years post qualified experience
- Must have full right to work within the UK (no sponsorship available)
