As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations for your area of responsibility, balance sheet reconciliations, looking to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects and requests.
Responsibilities:
- Management and development of 2 direct reports
- Management and production of daily P&L's.
- Management of the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process.
- Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries.
- Variance analysis supporting daily P&L's and month end accounts.
- Management and control of allocated cost lines.
- Support on cost reviews with budget holders.
- Management and control of Capex spend.
- Production of monthly management accounts.
- Support the Financial Controller with the year end and interim audits.
- Ensure the management accounts team adheres to multichannel and group finance deadlines.
Skills:
- CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified Accountant
- Management accounts / core finance experience essential.
- Management experience essential.
- Advanced Excel skills, SQL experience not essential but an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills, with a track record of developing positive working relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues.
