A leading specialty insurer operating across the US and Europe, is seeking a Due Diligence Analyst and Senior Analyst to join their growing team. This Company was just listed as a "top 100 alternative management firm" and are in the process of launching their IPO. With their high M&A model, they average about 19 legacy acquisitions per year and have a cutting edge investment strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to join a department that is going through a transformative, value enhancing, and integrating team.
Location: 100% Fully Remote
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships with brokers, reinsurers, regulators
- Partner with different groups to undertake financial due diligence on M&A targets / opportunities
- Gain a strong understanding of the operational model of the firm
- Identifying key risks during the due diligence phase and mitigating these risks
- Working cross functionally with multiple business areas (including but not limited to operations, underwriting and claims)
- Assisting in the monitoring of existing programs, identifying concerning trends or issues and reporting findings to Senior Leaders
- Preparing documentation to support the renewal of existing programs, analyzing the historical and forecast performance
- Preparing ad-hoc analysis across a range of topics for presentation to Senior Management.
Experience and Education:
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role
- Experience in the insurance industry, preferably with exposure to MGAs.
- Understanding of the markets in which the division operates in.
