Job specification:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful person will be responsible for the management and administration of the Credit portfolio including:
- Maintaining client files, involving liaising with clients, relationship managers and solicitors to ensure all loan and security documentation is in place and keeping a bible of documentation for each loan;
- Working with legal counsel, both internal and external, in the preparation and maintenance of loan and security documentation, 'Know your Client' documentation and the Credit Policy;
- Preparing loan applications and loan reviews, including analysis of company financials (budgets, annual reports, cash flows);
- Monitoring the loan portfolio on a daily basis for upcoming maturities;
- Reconciling the bank accounts and the loan portfolio on a daily basis for payments due;
- Recording loans on our internal systems and ensuring outgoing loan drawdown payments are made on time
- Preparing credit committee and board reports, including relevant minutes;
- Managing the credit month-end process, including finalising loan inputs for review and billing for fees due on the loan facilities;
- Assisting the finance team with the year-end process, including liaising with internal and external auditors;
- Managing the Regulatory and Central Bank Reporting
- Ad-hoc projects around automation & process improvement
Attributes required:
- 7+ years in credit oriented role with similar experience
- Third level education with business degree or similar
- An in-depth knowledge of corporate loan administration, credit application, AML, client loan review process and loan documentation, including loan agreements and security documentation
- Knowledge of collective investment undertakings (investment funds) necessary as most lending is to this client type.
