The position of Compliance Specialist is quite broad: help the business divisions and the management to identify, understand and manage the compliance risk. You are responsible for outlining the rules of behaviour regarding both opportunities and limitations as well as updating the guidelines to optimise their implementation. In co-operation with other divisions, you will advise on the implementation of suitable solutions for managing compliance risks and carry out assessments of new products, projects and services. You will be responsible in monitoring national and European regulations in the area of compliance, organise training and awareness activities and issue directives to ensure the adoption of appropriate internal procedures and instruction. You will be responsible for planning and carrying out specific audits. You formulate proposals for recommendations and follow up on their implementation in consultation with the business units.

What will you concretely do as Compliance Business Specialist ?

• Be able to cooperate with Business department and assess the compliance risk.
• Be able to understand and outline the regulation in terms of suitable solutions for managing compliance risks.
• Be responsible in monitoring national and European regulations in the area of compliance, organise training and awareness activities and issue directives to ensure the adoption of appropriate internal procedures and instruction
• Be able to formulate and propose new solutions and implementations in collaboration with Business department.
• Communicating with clients
• Escalating cases when needed

Are you our next KYC Analyst? The answer is yes if

• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Compliance field.
• You have a Master of Laws or Business Management and an equivalent experience of at least 5 years.
• You are native Dutch speaker and can communicate both orally and in writing in English (French is a plus).
• You are familiar with European and Belgian financial legislation (MiFID, MAR, IDD, etc.).
• You are a team player and you are not afraid to take new challenges.
• You are analytical and critical and are able to defend your own opinion.
• You are communicative, energetic and solution-oriented.
