As the Change Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering end to end change management lifecycle, ensuring change is fully embedded in the relevant parts of the business whilst managing stakeholders and driving participation from affected parties throughout the change journey. We want best practices to be identified and followed by our colleagues and you will be a key player in helping people to understand how to best support the MDM (Master Data Management) Programme.

Main areas of responsibility

  • All aspects of change management including communication plans, sponsor/ stakeholder management/engagement, change impact analysis, change readiness assessments and training plans and delivery.
  • Build and maintain the Stakeholder register, analysis, mapping and action delivery for allocated workstreams
  • Implement stakeholder engagement strategy and ensure effective management
  • Conducting Change Impact Assessments, fit-gap analysis and developing/executing Change Plans to include communications, training and required process and IT changes to facilitate the successful delivery of change plans, including coordinating/collaborating with outsourced service providers and internal stakeholders
  • Setting business change readiness parameters and periodically assessing business change readiness to ensure corrective actions (change, comms, training, business adoption) are put in place to stay on course for a successful delivery for allocated workstreams
  • Collation and summarisation of key change milestones, liaising with the workstream leads and the Project Manager to develop a communication plan and ensure robust and timely communication
  • Deliver engaging, timely, relevant, and impactful internal communications, ensuring a unified look and feel that reflect the programme's priorities, values, vision and strategy
  • Deliver optimised timing of the release of deliverables into business operations
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration, including conflict resolution where required, negotiation and strong communications skills
  • Preparing and presenting clear and concise reporting
  • Defines the benefits and assesses the progress towards its realisation.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in using structured analysis methods and be able to demonstrate ability using common analysis tools including a good working knowledge of agile methodologies required
  • Broad experience across Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Migration, Data Quality Management, and Information Governance
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal including demonstratable facilitation techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills that gets people to buy in and deliver to a high standard.
  • Ability to influence and work effectively at all levels in an organisation
  • Agile approach and ability to keep up with the pace of change, learn fast and adapt to the new conditions quickly and effectively
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • An industry level qualification in Change Management is desirable
  • Experience using a variety of software tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio etc.
  • Good understanding of project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Lead business readiness activities.
  • Someone who understands Change impact analysis and training needs analysis
  • Experience leading end-to-end business-led change initiatives.
